“I found the two days an absolutely wonderful experience. It gave me the time, space and structure to really think about what I was here to do. A really rare treat! I think the full effect is still being felt as it has altered the type of work I wish to be involved in. I did have a sense of direction but definitely felt clearer at the end of the workshop as a result of the skilled facilitation, the structure of the sessions and the other delegates, who were very helpful indeed. Thank you for a unique and important experience”.
“I am still reeling from or should I say, the ripples keep coming. I spoke about the first word I wrote … it was ‘Clarity’, that’s what I gained from this course. I loved the fact you guys spoke about ‘being unique’ – we are! Of the many things I have gained from this course is just how we all interpret words.”
“It has been one of the best two days I have spent. When I said about handing in my 5 most important things to someone to direct me, I now see that as understandable. and not as a mixed up muddle of wants.
I now have a clearer picture of my goal. I love my counselling but believe I could not, or more to the point, don’t want to do it 5 days a week. I have learnt I would like to do workshops too. I want to make a difference to my ‘Xmas tree.’ I want to show to those who believe themselves thick that they are far from it, they have hidden strengths.”
“Thank you so much for such an interesting and enjoyable course. I did feel a bit flat the next couple of days and settling back into the work routine was particularly difficult, but that was probably as a result of having had my mind expanded. There was so much to think about that I quite resented having to work!
I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and found them varied. Meeting the other group members was particularly good. I worked with almost everyone and each person had plenty to contribute. I felt quite sad when we all went our separate ways. I thought that the way the 3 of you worked seamlessly (or so it appeared) together was very impressive.
I keep getting ideas of [different] things I might pursue. Also, I realise that I have always seen myself as someone to blend into the background. After this course I think I should move out of my comfort zone sometimes and perhaps speak up more!”
